The Pharmacy Department of Jahangirnagar University (JU) is going to observe a two-day long reunion and its Silver Jubilee Programme on 17 December here on the campus.
Marking the functions, the department chalked out elaborate programmes whose are included are colorful procession, science based seminar, various types of competitions and a cultural function- confirmed Prof. Sukalyan Kundu, Chairman of Pharmacy Department.
Around at 10.00am, on first day, JU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Farzana Islam will inaugurate the functions at Zahir Raihan Auditorium as chief guest while the founder of Gonoshasthaya Kendra, Dr. Zafrullah Chowdhury will attend as special guest the events. Later, he will be awarded by Pharmacy department.
On the second day, the alumni reunion will be held while Health Minister Mohammed Nasim is expected as chief guest while Pro-VC Prof. Abul Hossain, Treasurer Prof. Abul Khair, dean of Biological Faculty Prof. Abdul Jebber Hawlader, Dr. Enamur Rahman, MP, Dhaka-19 as special guest will present at the function, among others.
