BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) celebrated the prize giving ceremony of the Book Reading Competition recently in the BUFT Auditorium. The program was jointly organized with the British Council, Dhaka and the Department of English, BUFT.
Prof Dr Syed Masud Husain, Vice Chancellor, BUFT was present as the chief guest in the program. Prof Dr Engr Ayub Nabi Khan, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Sarwat Reza, Library Manager of British Council attended the program as the special guests.
The program started with the welcome speech delivered by Ali Azgor Talukder, Associate Prof and Head, Department of English and ended with a vote of thanks given by the Registrar ANM Rafiqul Alam.
In total 120 students were awarded with certificates by the British Council. All heads of the academic and administrative departments, faculty members, officials and students were present in the event.
