Shihab Ahmad, a highly experienced telecom professional in Bangladesh, has recently joined Robi as Robi Axiata’s Project Director – Integration.
He will be responsible for the post-merger integration of Robi and Airtel- the largest merger in Bangladesh history. He has joined at the level of Chief Officer and will be a member of the Management Council of the company.
Shihab brings with him more than 19 years of extensive professional experience that encompasses Corporate Strategy, Marketing, Sales and Customer Care, Devices, Digital Services and MFS.
Commenting on this, Robi’s CEO and Managing Director Mahtab Uddin Ahmed said: “Inclusion of Shihab would bring new dimension to our business. His understanding of the telecom industry gained within the industry equipped him with skills of planning and developing responses to the changing market landscape”
A graduate from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), he has done his MBA from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan.
