Education UK Exhibition in city from Jan 26
The 19th annual Education UK Exhibition will take place at the British Council, Dhaka University Campus office at Fuller Road for individuals who want to find out how an education experience in the UK will prepare them for an exciting career and give them a competitive edge in the global marketplace. The Exhibition is slated to take place on January 26 and 27 (Thursday and Friday) 2017.
Twenty-one globally renowned UK institutions will participate in the biggest UK education exhibition in Bangladesh. Students are encouraged to come with photocopies of their academic 
Putra stadium now renamed Axiata Arena
Leading Asian telecommunications group, Axiata Group Berhad (Axiata) recently introduced Axiata Arena, Malaysia’s first corporate named stadium, in partnership with Perbadanan Stadium Malaysia. In a 10-year partnership, Axiata has secured the exclusive sponsorship of Putra Indoor Stadium to jointly work on the redevelopment and modernisation of the national venue.
Through the corporate partnership, Axiata Arena is set to be the crown jewel of KL Sports City, the redevelopment of the Bukit Jalil National Sports Complex, when it reopens in July 2017.

NBR holds partnership dialogue with CAB
National Board of Revenue (NBR) has arranged a partnership dialogue with consumer’s association of Bangladesh (CAB), Intellectual Property Association of Bangladesh (IPAB), Joint Stock Company, Bangladesh Bank & BASIS with a view to protect revenue and ensure consumer rights. The dialogue has taken place in NBR conference room at the capital city Dhaka.

ICT Division, Robi and online school ‘10 Minute School’ are going to work together for promoting digital education in the country. A tripartite agreement was signed recently among these organizations at the Janata Tower Software Development Park at Karwan Bazar in the capital.
