Team Tigers’ maiden ODI series win against South Africa

The team tigers have won the one-day international series (ODI) against South Africa for the first time at Centurion Stadium, which is also known as SuperSport Park.

According to espncricketinfo.com, Bangladesh beat South Africa by nine wickets in a one-day international cricket match. South Africa won the toss and opted to bat first, scoring 154 runs. Bangladesh chased down a 155-run target in 26.3 overs, clinching the victory.

Bangladesh was the dominant force in the bowling department, with Taskin Ahmed taking five wickets for 35 runs in nine overs. Tamim and Liton’s partnership made it impossible for the South African bowler to return to the game. Iqbal’s unbeaten 82 off 87 balls and his 127 run opening partnership with Liton, mighty Bangladesh chased the score with 141 balls left.

Before this tour, Bangladesh had no victory against them on South African soil. Bangladesh won the two-game series 2-1 today. With this victory, the Bangladesh cricket team made history in the country’s sporting legacy.
