
Leading search engine companies Google and Microsoft have agreed measures to make it harder to find child abuse images online. Reports BBC.
As many as 100,000 search terms will now return no results that find illegal material, and will trigger warnings that child abuse imagery is illegal.
UK Prime Minister David Cameron, who had called for action from the firms, has welcomed the move.
But he warned it must be delivered or he would bring forward new legislation.

More than 100 protesters marched through Hudson's Bay in downtown Vancouver on Monday, demanding the company do more to address safety issues and workers' rights months after the collapse of the RanaPlaza garment factory in Bangladesh.
The protesters took over the second floor of The Bay chanting, "Stop the killing! Sign the accord!", urging the store to sign on to an international agreement known as the Bangladesh Safety Accord.

Hennes & Mauritz , the world’s second-largest clothing retailer, laid out a plan to pay a fair “living wage” to some 850,000 textile workers by 2018, saying governments were acting too slowly.
“We believe that the wage development, driven by for example governments in some countries, is taking too long, so we want to take further action and encourage the whole industry to follow,” H&M said in a statement on its website on Monday.
H&M sources most of its garments from factories in Asia, particularly Bangladesh, where a factory collapse in April that killed almost 1,130 people put pressure on big brands to improve the working conditions of those making clothes for the West.
